Tech news:

PyMusique is released that allows users to buy music from the iTunes Music Store without DRM attached to the files. The PyMusique software, created by a trio of independent programmers, emerged last week. One of its creators was Jon Johansen, the Norwegian programmer responsible for releasing DVD-copying software in 1999.

Google bans hate sites from Google News. Google is in the process of removing National Vanguard content from its Google News service. The news service that is still in beta after a couple of years, collects news from many sources and automatically puts them on news.google.com. They will be removing the National Vanguard from their index so it no longer shows up.

Mac Os X turns 4. “Mac OS X is the most important software from Apple since the original Macintosh operating system in 1984 that revolutionized the entire industry,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We can’t wait for Mac users around the globe to experience its stability, power and elegance.” Over 350 applications for Mac OS X shipped during the launch.

Hack: AirPort Express – It’s not just for iTunes anymore.

Airfoil lets you send any audio to remote speakers attached to your AirPort Express. With Airfoil, you can send audio from any application to your AirPort Express in just three easy steps.

Step 1) Select the application whose audio you want to transmit, in the Audio Source area.
Step 2) Select the desired AirPort Express device from the Remote Speakers list.
Step 3) Click Transmit. That’s it!
